FAQ

1. What is the Write to Rise Wellbeing Library? Write to Rise is a curated collection of 30 handwriting-based wellbeing ebooks, grounded in neuroscience and Positive Psychology. Each ebook guides you through a structured writing practice designed to build emotional resilience, restore energy, and clarify your sense of purpose.

2. Who is it for? The library is created specifically for women — particularly those navigating the pressures of midlife, career, and personal reinvention. It's for women who want more than passive self-help; women ready to actively engage with their own wellbeing.

3. Why handwriting — can't I just type my answers? Handwriting engages different neural pathways than typing. Research shows it activates deeper cognitive processing, emotional regulation, and memory consolidation. When you write by hand, you slow down enough to actually hear yourself — and that's where real change begins.

4. How is the library organised? The 30 ebooks are arranged across three shelves: Emotional Resilience, Energy & Vitality, and Purpose & Growth. You can work through them sequentially or go straight to the shelf that feels most relevant to where you are right now.

5. Do I need any prior experience with journalling or Positive Psychology? None at all. Every ebook is self-contained and written to be immediately accessible — whether you've never kept a journal in your life or you're already familiar with wellbeing practices.

6. How long does each ebook take? That's entirely up to you. Each ebook is designed to work at your pace — you might move through one in a single sitting, or return to it over several days. There's no deadline, no pressure, no wrong way to use it.

7. What do I need to get started? Just a pen, a notebook, and a few quiet minutes. That's it.

8. Is this available for organisations and corporate teams? Yes. Write to Rise is available for HR teams, L&D departments, and organisations committed to meaningful employee wellbeing. Licensing is offered on a negotiable basis to suit different organisational needs — get in touch to discuss what's right for your team.

9. Who created Write to Rise? Write to Rise was created by Libbla Kelly — a specialist in women's wellbeing with 21+ years in corporate communications, a Positive Psychology credential from the University of Pennsylvania, and a long-standing passion for the neuroscience of handwriting. She has also published Wisdom While You Work, a teens wellbeing journal with over 6,000 copies sold.

10. How is this different from other wellbeing apps or self-help books? Most wellbeing content asks you to read, listen, or watch. Write to Rise asks you to do. The act of writing by hand is itself the practice — not a supplement to it. Reading changes your mind. Writing changes your life.
