Hello,

I’m here to remind you of a strength within you , its doesn’t require learning it just requires the knowledge of how best to use it for your wellbeing … writing. The basis of writing was founded 3200 BCE and you learnt it way back when you were young. It is a more powerful tool than you realise.

I am Libbla, founder of the program Write to Rise. I am an author of two journals, a certified Positive Psychology Wellbeing Coach, Personal Trainer and your Writing Guide. More than this, I am a self-aware woman of varied life learnings and experiences that have shaped my positive life. I want to share the knowledge with you.

I have navigated life through writing diaries, notes, ideas, thoughts, secrets, goals and plans in notebooks. Many of the words I have written have eased my anxiety, set me free and created a new reality in my life always moving me along. My writings were the foundations for my journals for teens and midlife women.
My journals are the basis of this new idea, A Wellbeing Library for Women – Write to Rise

ABOUT ME

Born in Dublin and raised in Somerset from the age of 10, I grew up in a home that was a joyful hub of connection and communication. My parents were amazing and my siblings and I are so grateful always. That early foundation shaped everything that followed, from my years as a nanny, pilgrimages to Lourdes for 13 years, management training, women’s fashion retail and 15 years working alongside an investment entrepreneur as Director of Communications. There were many projects along the way to learn, expand and grown from.

I became a personal trainer specialising in core strength, balance, and breath. I am an attuned Reiki practitioner. And through all of this since the age of 9 when I received my first diary, I have loved to write! I wonder if that is why I am such positive person? Or I take after my father? Perhaps both?

Though I’m not a mother myself, I’ve been privileged to be a nanny, aunt, godmother to 14, and stepmother to 3. These 21 young people have taught me so much, and as a listener and observer, I can respond to them with a different perspective than a parent might. I love them all and they are all so much part of my life. Now most of them are married or have partners… my every growing “family”! So much fun. They inspired my first journal for young people age 10 up. Wisdom While You Work, Values for Wellbeing. Click here for the website.

Wisdom for women

I understand the unique terrain of midlife intimately – the menopause, anxiety, brain fog, empty nests, grief, and the quiet loss of self-esteem that can creep in.
Having walked this path myself after a hysterectomy at 48, I know how writing by hand can become an anchor, a mirror, and a map through life’s most challenging transitions.

Navigating Midlife has taught me again and again that women need women to survive. Women share with women and we understand each other.

Me on Me

Labels and boxes are not my way – but to let you know I am a holistic practitioner, a businesswoman, experienced, knowledgeable, positive, strong, warm, and real – by real I mean true to myself. I believe in living actively, establishing good habits with room for flexibility and the understanding that everyone has a perspective of their own. I live peacefully and wildly, observing and listening , knowing we can only control ourselves but we can sow seeds for others if they ask.
I believe these principles work not just in theory, but in the beauty, confusion and choices of real life.
One thing I can confirm wholeheartedly… In my experience and of my many clients , my never ending reading and studies, when all this is brought together…. Writing moves you forward… Back to Home Page
